Title of project: The development of Integrated Pulau Tujuh Tourism Area

The innovation project in Central Maluku aims to develop the tourism in Pulau Tujuh area. Main activities to be conducted among others strengthening the local regulations concerning the local tourism and spatial, improvement of tourism management quality and its supporting infrastructures, strengthening the human resource quality of the local tourism actors, tourism program e.g. promotion and collaboration with other tourism destinations outside Central Maluku, and publications and e-marketing. The project is expected to improve the infrastructures, human resource quality, to increase the local government income (PAD) and the overall local economy.

Target beneficiaries: Fishery groups, village – owned enterprises.

Partners:

o Local partners: Local Government of Central Maluku Regency including the Local Training, Research, and Planning Center.

o National partners: Ministry of Village and Under Developed Areas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (for construction of solar plants).

Duration: 12 months

RIF Budget: IDR. 1 billion.
