JAKARTA – Tuesday (May, 30th). Bappenas invited the members of the Project Technical Committee (PTC) to attend a meeting, aimed to discuss the Annual Work Plan (AWP) for the period June – December 2017. The Technical Committee Meeting was opened by Director of the Directorate of Disadvantaged Areas, Transmigration and Villages, National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS), Mr. Sumedi Andono Mulyo and GAC Senior Development Officer, Mr. Jeffey Ong.

The NSLIC / NSELRED Technical Committee meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries / Agencies at the National level sitting on the PTC including: The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK), The Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM), The Ministry of Village Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendes PDDT ), The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), The Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs (Kemenko Ekon), The Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan), The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), The Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (Kemenpppa). In addition, representatives of the two focus provinces were also in attendance. Representatives included: the Provincial Regional Development Planning Boards (BAPPEDA) for Gorontalo and Southeast Sulawesi Provinces.

The Project Technical Committee is meant to provide support to the Project Steering Committee with regards to project planning, providing technical input with regards to Project implementation, performance monitoring and impact evaluation, and ensure the integration of cross-cutting themes including gender equality, environmental sustainability, and good governance.

At the meeting on the 30th of May, the NSLIC / NSELRED Technical Committee provided input for revision of the Annual Work Plan for the period June to December 2017.
