Title of project: The Development of Agro Minapolitan Centers in Southern Eastern Lombok through a Sustainable, Transformative, and Gender Equal Economic Innovation.

There are as many as 61 poor villages in East Lombok Regency which is still high in comparison with other areas in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province (data from the Food Security Agency of East Lombok Regency). The proposed project aims to tackle the poverty by increasing the households income (farmers and fishermen’s families) through the development of sustainable production centers and the development of micro small enterprises in agriculture and marine – fishery field, strengthening the institutional capacity of community groups and village – owned enterprises (BUMDes) as business centers, and creating inter-villages cooperation network.

Target beneficiaries: farmers and fishermen’s groups

Partners:

o   Local partners: Local Government of East Lombok Regency, local NGO (LPDSM), Village – owned enterprises

o   National partners: Ministry of Village and Under Developed Areas

Duration: 12 months

RIF Budget: IDR. 1 billion.
